Spicey sauce a'la bread :-p [Aug. 29th, 2004|10:39 pm]

Spicey sauce a'la bread

5 large pieces of white bread, crust removed
0,5 dl red wine vinegar
5 cloves garlic
cayenne pepper
black pepper
tabasco sauce
chilli powder
olive oil

Tear the bread into little bits and put in a bowl. Pour the vinegar over and let sit for a while. Mix with a hand mixer. Add minced garlic, paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, tabasco sauce, chilli powder. Mix well. Drizzle in enough olive oil to give a thick sauce-like consistency. You'll need quite a bit of oil.

This sauce is great with boiled potatoes (add a lot of salt to small potatoes and boil until soft, skin on). It should be quite hot, so you will need a bit of tabasco sauce :)

Enjoy! :)
