Cherry soup
Potato starch

Put cherries (I just took the stems off, as my mom always made this with "unpitted" cherries, it makes me smile to eat it that way and spit them out as I eat hehe) in a sauce pan. Add a little bit of water. Enough to ALMOST cover the cherries. Add quite a bit of sugar. (I don't measure. Neither should you.. hehe) Bring to a boil. Stir. Stir some more. Let sugar dissolve. In a cup with a lid, mix a few tbs of potato starch and water. Pour into soup to thicken. Let simmer a couple of minutes. Take of heat and chill. ENJOY!
